iOS 6.1.2 available for download, jailbreak still valid



Milling 6.1.2 iOS, Apple's mobile system, is available for download. The latter corrects the problem of excessive Exchange protocol.


All iPhone, iPad and iPod compatible with iOS 6 can therefore already be updated via the OTA procedure (for Over The Air). This should in principle eliminate the problem of high consumption observed by some users since version 6.1 of the mobile OS. The cause? Intensive network activity generated by the Exchange protocol which significantly lessened the autonomy of terminals.




Nothing says, however, that this update fixes the flaw found last week and bypassing the lock screen. Moreover, the update, which weighs about 12MB, does not make any other change visibly.

It is feared in every update of iOS Apple has filled the flaw used to jailbreak solutions in circulation, but it is still the case with version 6.1.2. I must say that the first two updates were released in an emergency due to blocking issues for some users.

The team evad3rs nevertheless published an update of its solution evasi0n now available in version 1.4. The jailbreak disabling OTA updates (from the terminal), the terminal users iOS 6.1 should update unbridled safeguarding and restoring the new firmware with iTunes.
